Niektórych
może zdziwić, że słowo Trójca w ogóle nie pojawia się w Nowym
Testamencie – słowo wręcz podstawowe dla chrześcijanina. Jezus
mówił uczniom o sobie i swoim Ojcu, i o Duchu prawdy, który od
Niego pochodzi, i o ich wzajemnej miłości. Później filozofia i
teologia zagmatwały to, co było proste.
Jest
jeden Bóg: Ojciec, Syn, Duch Święty, i kochają się nawzajem.
Taka wiedza wystarczy. Ojciec, Pan nieba i ziemi, zechciał objawić swe tajemnice tym, którzy są głuptaskami jak małe dzieci.

Opatrzności. (Do tego jeszcze budują Centrum Opatrzności.)
Czemu
nie kościół Opatrzności? Nie mówimy przecież o świątyni
Nawiedzenia czy o świątyni świętego Antoniego. Świątynia
Opatrzności kojarzy mi się z rewolucją francuską i jej pomysłami
na kult albo rozumu, albo „istoty najwyższej”.

It
may seem surprising the the word Trinity, so fundamental for
the Christian faith, doesn't appear in the New Testament. Jesus told his
Apostles about himself and his Father, and the Spirit of truth who
comes from him, and their love for each other. What was simple,
became confused by philosophy and theology.
There
is one God: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and they love each
other. Do you need to know more? The Father revealed his mysteries to those who are silly and mere children.

In
Warsaw they build the Temple of the Divine Providence.
Why
temple and not church? We don't speak about, e.g., a temple of the Nativity
of Our Lady, or a temple of St Peter – it's always the church of St
Peter or St Peter's church. The Temple of the Providence sounds for
me like le Temple de la Raison.
