W anglikańskim kościelnym kalendarzu 27. lutego jest dniem pamięci o wielkim angielskim (a pochodzącym z Walii) poecie, który był też anglikańskim pastorem. Chodzi o George'a Herberta. Nie ukrywam, że jest mi bliższy niż Zbigniew Herbert*), chociaż i tego cenię. Na czym polega owo 'wspomnienie' Herberta u anglikanów, nie wiem. Może po prostu stawia się go jako przykład wiary i miłości do Boga. To jeden z jego wierszy, o modlitwie; wspaniałe obrazy tego, czym jest modlitwa.
